    How to Get a Real Estate Agent License in New Jersey

    To become a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey, you must complete a thorough background check and pass a licensing examination. In New Jersey, fingerprints are used to search your criminal history with the FBI. You can challenge any information if you think it is inaccurate. You will need to complete an application form and pay the $160 fee to get your real estate license.
